COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Waste Less takes Covid-19 seriously. We are permitted to continue offering garbage removal services under O. Reg. 82/20: "Businesses that deliver or support the delivery of community services are allowed, including: 'waste collection, transport, storage, processing, disposal or recycling'".

All our employees have familiarized themselves with how Covid-19 is contracted and what steps we can take on and off the job to keep ourselves, our communities, and you, safe.

Having reviewed professional medical advice on Covid-19, these are the precautions we have adopted.

1. Mandatory Covid-19 symptom self-reporting at the beginning of each workday
2. Employees will wear work gloves and masks while working indoors and around customers
3. Employees will maintain 2 meter distance with customers at all times
4. Employees will avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
5. Waste Less is providing hand sanitizer to our employees
6. Employees will wash hands before and after each job, using alcohol-based hand sanitizer or equivalent
7. All equipment to be wiped down with disinfectant wipes before and after use
8. Avoid servicing any customers that have communicated they have COVID-19 or are symptomatic

These best practices protect both you, the customer, and our Waste Less employees in accordance with the government  of Canada’s COVID-19 guidelines.
